Job Description

London based Travel Trade Association seeks a Spanish speaking Account Market Manager to work closely with the Spanish market – hotels, tourist boards, transport companies, travel and online travel companies, restaurants, attractions – to encourage participation at European based  events, workshops and trade shows, to work closely with the trade to ensure the Association is aware of industry concerns in that area and to develop new members appropriate for the Association. 

The role will involve travel and working within a successful and professional team, with a company that offers regular training course and proven career progression.

The key responsibilities will include : 

  • Setting up the strategy to increase sales and to work closely with key members to ensure they participate in  Associations activities

  • to successful promote events, seminars, trade shows and workshops the company arrange

  • To listen to market trends and ensure the Association offers the right support for this successful market

  • To work with the B2B market and participate in European based events and trade shows, workshops and seminars 

Candidates must be able to demonstrate :   

  • Fluency in English and Spanish

  • Knowledge of the Spanish travel trade

  • Be currently based in London

  • Have worked in the European tourism industry with experience of either sales, account management or contracting

  • Preferred candidates have worked in a tour operator, DMC, hotel group, online travel or other relevant European inbound sector

  • Be commercially focused

  • Worked within a team
