Job Description

Global tourism group seeks a Global Travel Trade Sales Manager to grow their business throughout the world with the emphasis on Spain and Italy where they are already well established. This Award winning company has grown substantially in the last 5 years and boast a happy and motivated team who are proud of their achievements.  Your role will be to build global travel trade clients, promote an ever increasing product range, account managing existing clients and develop new sales channels. 

Global Travel Trade Sales Manager clients will : 

  • Work closely with existing clients to ensure sales growth and to introduce them to new products relevant to their client base

  • work with a range of clients including airlines, tourist boards, travel agents, wholesalers, the online travel community and tour operators

  • develop new sales with key responsibility for France and Spain

  • review and design online and off line promotional material

  • design innovative promotional campaigns

  • produce sales forecasts

  • attend overseas trade shows and workshops

  • arrange own sales missions particularly to Spain and Italy

  • negotiate contracts and commission levels 

Global Travel Trade sales Manager candidates must be able to demonstrate : 

  • proven sales background within the travel or tourism industry

  • fluency in English – preferred 2nd languages Spanish and/or Italian

  • preference given to candidates from an ecommerce background

  • target driven and consistent levels of enthusiasm and energy

  • ability to communicate at all levels
