Inbound Executive - French market

Job Description

Overall Responsibilities

  • Responsible for smooth communication with the overseas travel agencies and tour operators on all fronts
  • Preparation of itineraries and quotations within the set SOP’s for response
  • Sending reservation requests to hotels and land service providers in Vietnam
  • Follow up on sent over programs
  • Ensuring that all relevant data is uploaded in Asian Trails’ administration system
  • Coordination with the operation department with our offices in booking land services
  • Follow up payment with its customers
  • General administration tasks related to quality control checks in terms of pricing and itinerary content
  • Supporting and taking initiative in handling and reporting complaints, irregularities and imminent changes in product-related matters with the assistance of the department manager
  • Work closely with colleagues from other departments and offices within the Asian Trails Group

 

Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s / University degree in tourism or hospitality industry
  • Proficiency in French is essential (verbal and writing), good command of English is a requisite
  • 1-2 years’ experience in a travel & tourism company, preferably in the French Market
  • Specific destination knowledge in Vietnam and/or South East Asia is a must
  • Experience with FIT and GIT/series bookings of advantage
  • Experience with back-end travel software is an advantage

  • Good command of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, etc.)
  •  

  • The ideal candidate must be detailed-orientated, service-minded, some experience in negotiations and have a drive to deliver exceeding expectations
  • Able to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and work flexible hours during peak season.  A "Can Do" attitude and positive thinking that includes creative thinking is an asset
