Job Description

This role would suit a proven sales professional with a successful track record of leadership gained in a b2b service sector– ideally with a good understanding of the international travel environment. A good strategic thinker you will thrive on inspiring sales performance by change management and driving results with well-proven leadership skills. As well as excellent relationship management skills you will be responsible for the delivery of the annual revenue targets for the Travel Division including sponsorship and digital revenue.If you have an established reputation as a commercial business development lead with a passion for transforming large sales teams across a range of international brands – we’d love to hear from you.

  • Proven track record of leading and developing sales teams across several brands ideally in the travel, hospitality or aviation sectors
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to build strong commercial relationships with key customers in a b2b environment
  • A passion for creating a dynamic results-oriented sales culture to deliver revenue growth and margin across a variety of brands and teams
  • A thorough understanding of all sales tools and techniques together with all relevant technologies
  • Previous experience in a sales environment in exhibitions, events, publishing and/travel is extremely important
  • Highly commercial with a can-do attitude to achieve and exceed ambitious revenue targets
  • Computer literate, good budgeting, forecasting and reporting skills
  • An international approach with a sound knowledge of the travel industry landscape and its key players, hotels, airlines, tourist boards and attractions
