Key Account Supervisor – Latin Markets

Job Description

The role of key account supervisor is a crucial link between a new key account partner and our suppliers. You will be working closely together with the senior Asian Trails management team, as well as with the Destination Manager of the key account. Your aim is to build the relationship with this key account, covering both leisure and MICE business across different product lines, and help ensure a competitive product offer and operational handling.

The role is a diverse one covering product development, quotations and reservations, quality control and strategic planning. We are looking for a senior with proven ability and track record on the LATIN Inbound market to Thailand.

Overall Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Key Account Destination Manager in managing and controlling the business of the various core brands
  • Familiar handling FIT and group bookings for various brands from the diverse Latin source markets
  • Responsible for communication with various overseas tour operators and their product managers
  • Planning and preparation of itineraries and quotations, including SIC, FIT, Leisure Groups and MICE
  • Overseeing reservations to hotels and land service providers in Thailand
  • Follow up on sent over programs, and managing quotations
  • Solving problems: coordinate assistance through our various Latin Representatives
  • Assistance handling complaints from customers
  • Ensuring that all relevant data is uploaded in Asian Trails’ administration system
  • Coordination with the operation departments booking the various land services
  • Follow up on payments with agents where required
  • General administration tasks
  • Work closely with colleagues from other departments and offices within the Asian Trails Group
  • Report to the Latin Market Manager and Senior Asian Trails Management


  • Being familiar with various products for the Latin markets across MICE, SIC and FIT leisure market segments
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Tourism
  • Good command of English and preferably also Spanish 
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a travel & tourism company, preferably in the Latin Market
  • Specific destination knowledge in Thailand and/or South East Asia
  • Experience with FIT, MICE, SIC and GIT/series bookings of advantage
  • Experience with TOPAX software of advantage
  • Good command of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, etc)
  • Able to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and work flexible hours during peak season. A "Can Do" attitude and positive thinking that includes creative thinking is an asset
