Job Description

London based UK inbound tour operator and DMC with several overseas offices, are recruiting for a Senior Business Development Manager to account manage and develop new sales from Spanish speaking markets

We seek candidates who have experience working for an inbound tour operator, with good knowledge of the UK & Ireland as a destination and experience of working with the Spanish and South American travel industry

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for account managing Spain and South American based tourism and travel clients (B2B)
  • Responsible for increasing sales from Spanish speaking markets
  • Develop product ideas, prepare quotations and operate groups and incentives and special interest groups
  • Work daily with suppliers such as hotels, attractions, transport companies, restaurants and venues
  • Negotiate rates and develop strong working relationships with clients and suppliers

Experience & skills required:

  • Be fluent in English and Spanish
  • Proven experience with a UKinbound tour operator or DMC
  • Ability to work with all levels of seniority
  • Ability to work for deadlines
  • Experience of attending events, workshops and trade shows
  • Be a team player
  • Be self-motivated and have excellent communication skills
